MONA EVANGELISTA
Age: 17
Mona is Haverleigh’s favorite jock. She can often be found playing with a soccer ball in the student lounge, and if you care to stay to chat, she’ll probably stop you to play a game of Air Hockey while you do. She’s almost got a nervous twitch, in fact. That’s how often she’s on the move. Mona secretly has an unregulated problem with her adrenaline, and that’s why she’s so athletic. It’s not a big deal, though, except when she’s taking exams. She’s cheated once or twice, and she’s pretty good at it too. She must be, to be pulling those perfect grades in class and to be scoring goals left and right on the field. Mona’s sneaky and conniving when she needs to be, but she’s usually upbeat and quite friendly. Recently, though, she’s become jumpier and less happy. Could it have something to do with the resurgence of the Seven? Maybe someone’s feeling a little guilty about her membership…

My fingers tapped impatiently against the wooden desk, tap, tap, tap. I ignored some of the stares I got from some of the other girl's, I felt myself chewing at my nails, a disgusting habit I picked up whenever I was nervous.
I knew if i didn't pass this science test I would be on temporary suspension from my sports, and I hate even thinking about that. An un-natural feeling breeze drifted over the classroom from one of the open windows, the sky was dark and gloomy, it suited my mood perfectly. I peeked up from my paper, my eyes darting to the front of the room where the teacher sat. She was short and pudgy, with squinty eyes and thin chapped lips. She was only a substitute, but still her stare was alerting and sharp. She caught my eye contact for a moment but I quickly turned back to my paper, looking at the blank questions in front of me.
I had made an assortment of lines and dots into the border of the paper, I felt like jumping up and running away from the small cramped room. I looked at my nails , the bright blue polish I had painted earlier lifted my spirits slightly, but looking at the clock I felt my mood dampen quickly. Tap, tap, tap.
"Stop" I heard a hushed whisper, the whisper I had been looking for, so i could turn to this person for a reason for just a slight moment, and I did quickly but instead of looking at their face I glanced at their paper, the answer written in black bold print. And as if it never happened I scrawled the answer down, changing it slightly and lengthening it. I didn't dare follow the same technique, so when the teacher was called out of the room for a minute I glanced at the person's work in front of me, it was if i was just looking at the clock though, my eyes working fast and swift. I followed this method every couple of minutes before a page of beautiful running writing decorated my page with answers. I smiled lightly to myself, no one suspected anything. I pushed my pencil away slightly as the final bell went, I handed my paper to the teacher before walking out, the fresh air welcoming and my smile wide. I made my way to the soccer fields were training was to be held today.
(Hope that was okay..)

Answer the following questions:
-Are you interested in moderating the group?
Not at the current moment (: I think I suck at it to be truthful aha
-What are your top five choices of characters?
Firstly because there are not a large amount of characters left I would love to be Mona - I love her problem and I think it's quirky and would be fun to work with! My Second choice would be Ashley and then lastly Lina.
-Why should you be valedictorian?
I should be valedictorian because I'm an all rounder, I get straight A's easily and I am the captain for the Soccer team, Lacrosse team and Basketball team to name a few. I feel I am deserving for this such title, I have done so much to try... And of course the most common answer is that it would look just stunning on my College application.
-Do people here like you?
I get along with anyone that I like, so of course there are a few snarky and arrogant girl's that I don't get along with - sometimes because i didn't let them join my team or maybe because I always win. Not my problem they can't beat me.
-Tell us one thing you've heard about the Seven.
I've heard if you talk about them - bad things happen. So I would shut your mouth, as will I.
